An HVAC engineer with 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, offshore and onshore, variously providing support as a Technical Authority as well as project/asset engineering. He has provided support and assurance for international projects as well as UK projects and has good knowledge of applicable regulations. His experience of Asset operations includes risk management, maintenance strategies and systems, SAP system, Performance Standards, F-gas regulations and dealing with verification and UK authority HVAC issues.
Like many engineers, his industry experience is based on a solid foundation of project work covering FEED, detail design, equipment procurement, construction and commissioning, for both greenfield and brownfield projects. His experience grew to include extensive knowledge of temporary refuge testing and of more diverse activities such as participation in ISO committees, re-writing technical HVAC standards, HVAC HAZOPs, CFD analysis, dispersion analysis and HVAC safety roles.
