He has worked in the oil and petrochemicals industry for nearly 40 years, the last 27 based in the Aberdeen area with occasional project work in a variety of locations worldwide.
His most recent experience has been as in the transition team for a number of BP Divestments in various roles mainly focussed on document and data management (Including Wytch Farm, Southern Gas, Harding, Schiehallion, CNSFTC, CATS, FPS, Magnus, SVT, Bruce) and has performed a similar role for the Fairfield assumption of operatorship of Dunlin A.
He is a graduate of Aberdeen University gaining a BSc (Eng) Hons and a PhD titled ‘Analysis of Electrostatic Hazards associated with the transport and storage of low conductivity materials’.
